I really wish I was there looking at the reaction of the public when this song came out. Can you imagine how "listening to the devil speaking in first person" was back in the sixties and in a highly religious society? Really funny, to say the least. There was a video of this song in youtube in which you could see John Lennon dancing among the audience; for some reason it's not there anymore, but I'll be checking to see if somebody posts it again. For now, we can enjoy this live version,...
